It was all long hair, fancy dress and cocktails as Chris Coombes threw a monster 70s Night party to celebrate 50th birthdays for himself and Martin Papworth. Among an extensive guest list was the entire Lanna cricket team who had just played a match at the nearby David Buck Oval.
Coombsy went for the long hair, Martin for the suit and black polo neck while three of the Thai cricketers had a fantastic time with their farang team mates. Of course it was Adrian Ballantyne who stole the show in a very colourful outfit topped off by a red beret.
A great time was had by all with Captain Pete leading the way as usual and it was agreed by all that disco dancing was more tiring than playing cricket.
