The Saturday before Christmas was a perfect day for Thai cricket as 20 Thai cricketers gathered at Prem supported by Lanna’s Pete Warner and Ian Harling to use the pitch at Prem and the day saw a very even contest with the bowlers gaining more help but the batsmen able to survive at the crease thanks to all the work done by Chris and Cher.
Lanna Thais made 117 for 7 in their 25 overs with Feem making 39 in 47 balls with six fours as Duan and Kit both taking two wickets with Cher as always giving all his bowlers a chance to turn their arms over.
Pit and Frame added 66 for the Lamphun first wicket with Frame making 25 and Pit showing great application to make 46 from 58 balls but nobody else made double figures as Ert took three wicket Lamphun looked on the verge of victory but Cher was next man in as a single was scrambled of the last ball to leave the match tied as Lamphun finished on 117 for 6. Everybody went home happy.
