As announced at the Chiang Mai International Cricket Sixes 2019 gala dinner, there will be an annual event to honour the memory of Terry Skillett, whose contribution to the Sixes and Junior Cricket development will be marked by an annual ‘Terry Skillett Memorial Junior Cup’.
The inaugural match will be held on Sunday 22nd December at Gymkhana Club. Junior players from CMSCA (Chiang Mai Schools Cricket Alliance) and Lamphun Cricket will play a 25 over match showcasing the best juniors from 12 midday. In the morning the u13s and girls will play matches before the main game.
Cricket supporters are invited to attend and make contributions to junior cricket by having a few drinks at the Boundary Bar, which is selling beers, soft drinks, teas and coffees. All proceeds go towards Junior cricket.

To help cover the costs for the day we are appealing for match sponsors, The match will cost approx. 6000 baht to stage. We are seeking donations of 1000 baht or any amount, which will go towards ground fees, transport and food. Please contribute by pledging funds to Lanna CC or by adding to the collection boxes at the ground. Any excess contributions will go towards costs for future junior fixtures.

A donation of 500 baht will pay for a new match ball for the day and for junior fixtures in 2020.

We thank Martin Peters of Lanna Rehab for sponsoring shirts this year for all the CMSCA junior cricketers and for the Lanna Thais team that are playing in the Chiang Mai Senior League this season. There will be larger adult sizes of this colourful orange shirts available for sale for 1000 Baht which is another way of showing support for junior cricket.
All the juniors who will be playing on Sunday have been taking part in the Chiang Mai League either for their own teams or by helping out the three adult sides in the league so this will be a very special occasion to see the best junior Thai talent playing together to celebrate the life of Terry Skillett.
Terry’s partner Jenny Morgan who raised millions of baht to support junior cricket and the Hill Tribe Fund was very moved by the idea and gave her blessing:
